New homes in Newbiggin The regeneration of the village continues to pick up pace with plans for new homes in Cumberland Avenue. Cheviot Housing Association in partnership with the Housing Corporation will commence building on the £2.2 million project to construct 14 rental properties and six shared ownership homes in February.
