Sowing the Seeds for Competition Success
Newbiggin LIFE is encouraging residents to sow the seeds for success with the introduction of a garden competition.
Promoting tidy and colourful gardens, back yards and back streets within estates, the competition aims to help create a pleasant environment for residents.
So here's your chance to show off all your hard work with the winners of the best street receiving £300 in gardening vouchers, which will be shared equally amongst the street's residents and the winner of the best back garden/yard will receive £100 in gardening vouchers.
If you would like to enter please post a photograph of your garden, yard or street along with your name, address and telephone number to Roberta Buchanan, Newbiggin LIFE, Area Housing Office, Woodlea, Newbiggin by the Sea, NE64 6H5.
All entries must be received by Wednesday 22nd August with judging taking place on the 29th August 2005. The lucky winners will be notified week commencing 5th September 2005.
